National Seafood Educators was established in 1977 in Richmond Beach, Washington. The company’s goal is to educate and inform the public about the many health benefits of a seafood diet. National Seafood Educators has also consulted with many seafood retail businesses on how to sell, store, and prepare wholesome seafood. Evie Hansen, NSE founder, was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Being a commercial fisherman’s wife, Evie has many years of practical experience in the seafood industry. She has written a series of low fat, heart healthy seafood cookbooks.

Our Mission: Educate and inspire everyone to eat seafood at least twice a week.
